About us

Csobánka Central European Scout Centre is a Scout and Youth Hostel, camping site and activity centre. As it lies just outside the village of Csobánka, and the historical city centre of Budapest, transected by the Danube, it can be easily reached from there. The immediate vicinity of pristine nature: forests, hills and a small creek makes the Scout Centre an ideal place for hikers, bikers, rock climbers, school groups and everyone seeking a quiet place, any day of the year.

The Centre is operated by scouts, basically as volunteers, but it is open to all. Inspired by the scout spirit, we are keen on maintaining a friendly atmosphere and fostering the environmental protection and our environment.

We cooperate with the Hungarian Scout Association, and promote all kinds of youth initiatives.
